Dance Matters

Any explanation as to why IDSF have removed all Press Releases from their website ?   http://www.worlddancesport.org/Media/Press/Release   Surely you issue Press Releases to make Open and Public statements. Why suddenly get all coy and hide everything you have had to say?

In mid 2010 the WDC invited the IDSF to meet on neutral grounds and explore if (for the good of all those connected with Ballroom & Latin American dancing) a way could be found to aid the progress and development of dance. Throughout the world the majority were crying out for accord. The WDC listened and sought to find ways to make a better world. IDSF were not interested because their power and control were more important to them and they rejected the chance to simply meet and explore.   At the time the IDSF reason was "we are moving in different directions". They never clarified this statement but many interpreted it that the WDC were not totally embracing certain dreams of the IDSF.
